COVID Safe Plan is an Australia-wide program that supports businesses to keep our community safe from COVID-19.

This means we must:

  • Comply with national and state public health orders

  • Promote simple but effective physical distancing and hygiene measures

  • Raise any concerns about the risk of contracting COVID-19 immediately and work together to identify solutions.

  • Monitor the extent of COVID-19 in our community and share advice from state and federal authorities regularly.

Mental Health First is happy to announce that we have started the preparations for opening our doors again for classroom-based learning. As the safety and health of our participants are of utmost importance to us, we are implementing recommended social distancing measures and high levels of personal hygiene.

The rules:

  • Social distancing using the 1.5-meter rule.

  • Limiting student numbers per classroom.

  • Use of hand sanitiser.

  • Sanitizing tables, chairs, etc.

  • Ensuring both students and trainers abide by these methods.

We are also excited to offer 100 % online training for Standard Mental Health First Aid (Community and Workplace scenarios).  Currently, there are no 100% Youth Mental Health First Aid courses available.  However, there are blended courses on offer (a mix of online learning by yourself and then a much shorter time with a MHFA Facilitator face-face).  For more information click here.
